Location

From London via M3 through Winchester City Centre

Travel south on M3, take J9, at roundabout follow directions for Winnall Trading Estate. Proceed over roundabout, road leads to T-Junction opposite Fire Station.

Turn left and proceed in right hand lane through town. Proceed uphill to traffic lights and bear right and then take left hand lane past Library and Theatre Royal, remain in left hand lane and follow sign A30 Salisbury/Stockbridge. Straight over at traffic lights, bear right at roundabout following signs for Salisbury/Stockbridge
(A30).

Proceed uphill to mini roundabout, carry straight over for approx
2 miles on brow of Lainston sign posted “Next Turning Left”, turn left
Lainston is 150 yards on the right.

From London via M3 to avoid Winchester City Centre

Travel south on the M3 and take J8, A303 (Andover, Salisbury, South West) travel 7 miles on A303, take turning for the A34 Winchester. Travel for 5 miles south on the A34.

Take the B3420 sign posted Winchester. At roundabout (Three Maids Hill) take the B3420 Winchester. Past the Army training Regiment Camp, take the next right turn over the brow of hill, sign-posted Harestock, onto Harestock Road.

Travel to the end of this road (approx 1 mile) turn right in the direction of Stockbridge (B3049). Travel half a mile, sign on brow of hill ‘Lainston next turning
on left’ and Lainston is 150 yards on the right.

From The North, Via the A34

Travel along the A34 and leave the sign for Winchester (B3420). At roundabout (Three Maids Hill) take the B3420 Winchester. Past the army Training Regiment Camp, take the next right turn over the brow of the hill, sign-posted Harestock, onto Harestock Road. Travel to the end of this road, approx 1 mile, turn right in the direction of Stockbridge (B3049). Travel half a mile; sign on brow of hill ‘Lainston next turning on Left’ and Lainston 15 yards on right.

From the South via the M3

Leave the M3 at junction 11 (B3335) signposted Winchester S&W. Straight over 1^st roundabout, 2^nd exit at second roundabout, onto Badger Farm Road. Straight across next roundabout, 2nd exit next roundabout. Straight through two sets of traffic lights. Left at mini roundabout into Chilbolton Avenue, follow to the end, take left into Stockbridge Road. Proceed on this road for approximately 1 mile. On brow of hill Lainston House is signposted next turning left. Travel 150 yards, Lainston House is 1^st right.
